I brought Drakes Fortune and Tomb Raider. Actually Prefered Tombraider. Drakes was to shooty and not enough exploring and puzzles for me. If i want to shoot sh!t i play gears. Still was a good game just saying what i prefered.
If the DLC is reasonably priced i will consider it.
It amazes me how Ps3 fans slag Underworld off? There wasn't a demo on network so chances are you never played it? Not saying you would like it. Just makes me laugh how fanboys are.
I got my Ps3 for fifty quid. A friend of mine got it as a gift from his boss and didn't want it. Bargain. As it stands if i didn't have a console i would think the current Uk price of 299 is too steep compared to the 360. Yes it has free online and wi-fi etc and is cheaper in the long run but the average joe just wants to play a game on his arcade unit and sees the huge difference in price .And with the majority of games being muti-format £299 will seem expensive.

I personally think both consoles are evenly matched. When a game has amazing graphics its often lacking in another department be it A.I, innovation or just the old chestnut playability. Some games look like a dog but have great level design and draw distance. Each developer lends power to what they think the game needs.
I think Uncharted has better grpahics than Tombraider but prefer Tombraiders level design. Cod4 has good grpahics but lacks the co-op of Halo and on and on.

im not really into MP and the single player i'll complete in a weekend. Co-op is my favorite way of play so im dissapointed they haven't put it in whats probably Sonys biggest game of this generation. Kinda crazy they haven't.

Im might rent now. Im constantly playing co-op on gears and Halo as well as Ghost Recon and Reistance. Its my favortie method of play along with my friends. Bit dissapointed that there not putting it in. Im not really into MP and the single plsyer i'll knock out in a weekend.
Considering the games about exploring i don't really see how you can aim for a Mature rating without just adding the odd swear word or splash of blood.
I would rather them try for a more mature story and give Lara a bit of depth than just turn it into tombs of war.
I really like underworld. As long as the DLC is reasonably priced i'll probably get it.
If the last few levles are lush green or in the snow or something it would be awesome and blow you away even more after playing in the grit for hours. Fingers crossed.
Having little colour works in its favour as it allows the Ps3 to utilise the graphics better. Its tech thing apparently. If it had a lot of colour it wouldn't look as good. I remember reading about it on here someone where it explained it in detail. Having low colour means you can have more detail or something...
Hardly a surprise, just about every developer does it. If you don't agree with DLC don't buy it.
Seems like they wanted to put a lot of stuff in there but could'nt due to the time limit and release date. It definalty wasn't a space issue as i installed it and the whole game was 6gig leaving a couple of gig spare on the DVD.
Still i like the game and to be honest if the DLC is cheap enough id probably get it. Hell just about every developer holds stuff back for DLC so theres no point in just having a go at Eidos,

i prefered Tombraider to uncharted ( which graphically good bored me a little)so i don't think it was a waste of money. Stupid thing to say.
I don't think most 360 are really bothered. Theres still plenty of games that were relesed over Christmas that people have to catch up on and Killzone will sell probably about 5million. Thats not a lot to worry about.
Killzone looks great and a lot of 360 owners will probably play it round there mates house. Its just another game until the next one.

GTA4 actually sold very well on the 360, more than the Ps3 and lots of sub genres sell very well on the 360 also.
I do agree with you about the share holders though. Its probably right that the game cost around 5mill but they were expecting more profit for share holders. Damn those shareholders.
